Newton Noël Community Cart Parade & Carols

NEWTON, NC (Nov. 20, 2023) - Downtown Newton's engaging series of holiday celebrations continues with Newton Noël, a festive afternoon featuring live music performances and a community golf cart parade around the 1924 Courthouse Square.

Musical Guests & Event Schedule:

  • 3 - 4 p.m. at the Frank & Sue Jones Amphitheatre | Queen City Groove
  • 4 - 5 p.m at the Frank & Sue Jones Amphitheatre | GMC Jazz
  • 5 - 6 p.m. around the 1924 Courthouse Square | Newton Noël Cart Parade
  • 6 - 7 p.m. at the Frank & Sue Jones Amphitheatre | Singcerely Quartet
Parade participants must submit a registration form in order to ride or walk in the parade. Parade participants may ride in golf carts, bicycles, tricycles, wagons, gators, and scooters in the parade. Be sure to deck your ride with boughs of holly or your favorite holiday-inspired theme! Individuals, groups, and well-behaved pets on leashes may register to walk in the parade.

The parade will begin at Newton City Hall, 401 North Main Ave. The route will travel south on Main Avenue, turn left on A Street, turn left on College Avenue, and proceed back to Newton City Hall.
